Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara

You will arrive at your camp or lodge in time for lunch and a short rest. In the late afternoon, you will set out on your first game drive in a 4x4 vehicle, searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and buffalos on the vast savannah plains. You will return before sunset for dinner and overnight at your camp.
Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara
You will wake up early for a 6:00 AM game drive when predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs are most active, then return to camp for breakfast. You may choose to book an optional hot air balloon safari at dawn (approximately $450-500 USD) which includes a champagne breakfast in the bush, or visit a Maasai village to learn about local culture. After lunch, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive focusing on the Mara River area to see hippos and crocodiles. Day 3: Masai Mara to Nairobi
